Notice-and-takedown process

If you believe material on Throbbs.Reviews infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at dmca@throbbs.reviews. On receipt of a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified.

Note that Throbbs.Reviews publishes original editorial and does not re-host third-party paywalled content; even so, we take every good-faith notice seriously.

What a valid notice must include

To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include: (1) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;

(2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;

(3) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (such as a URL) for us to locate it;

(4) your contact information — address, telephone number, and email;

(5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

(6) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Designated agent

Notices should be directed to our designated DMCA agent at dmca@throbbs.reviews. [Full agent name and mailing address to be finalized by counsel and, where applicable, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.]

Counter-notice process

If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@throbbs.reviews.

A valid counter-notice must include: your signature; identification of the material and its location before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, and telephone number, together with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court and to accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

On receipt of a valid counter-notice we may restore the material as permitted under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

Repeat-infringer policy

In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we will disable or terminate accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
